Follow these steps:
First of all go to your phone's My File folder. After that go to the device storage and some smartphones will see 'Category' and 'Local 2' section. In which you go to the local section. Your Whatsapp folder will be found in the device storage.
Now click on the media name folder in the Whatsapp folder. In the media folder you go to More Settings. Here you will find the Show Hidden file option that you've turned on. After that you will find a folder called Statuses in the WhatsApp folder.
Whatever the status of this folder will be downloaded. However, the image and video will remain in this folder for 24 hours only.
