The Modi government has taken a big decision even before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The Modi government has approved a proposal to give 10% reservation to jobs and education for poor families by playing a bigger role before Lok Sabha elections. The proposal was passed at the central cabinet meeting on Monday.
The central government has played a bigger role on reserves. For the economically backward sections of the Cabinet meeting, 10 percent reservation has been given. The reservation quota will be 49% to 59%.
The central government will increase reservation quota to implement this new formula for reservation. The government will try to implement its proposed game changer for the constitutional research.
According to sources, the present quota of reservation will increase from 49.5% to 59.5%. Ten percent of those quota will be for economically backward people. Let us tell you that for long time economically backward castes were demanding reservation.
According to media reports, those who have less than Rs. 8 lakhs of family income will get the benefit. However, no official confirmation has been made yet.
It is to be mentioned that for last few years, the decision of the Modi government on the SC / ST Act was displeasing to the people of the genus. As well as in the latest assembly elections, considering the defeats in three states, the families can be seen as their target.
The central government has passed the proposal of 10 percent quota for economically backward class, but it is still very difficult to implement. The government has to do research for it in the Constitution. For that, it will have to get support of other forces in Parliament
