The biggest gift ever received by India from London
after independence During the Independence Day celebrations of India, an important gift was given by the London Metropolitan Police on Wednesday. A 12th- century Bronze statue of Buddha stolen nearly 60 years ago from a museum in Nalanda, returned to India by the London Police. This bronze statue of silver hand carved is one of the 14 statues stolen from a museum of Indiarn Archaeological Survey Organization (ASI) irn Nalanda in 1961
He had come to many people for years before coming to the auction in London.According to the Metropolitan Police, the dealer and owner told about this idol that this same idol was stolen from India.He collaborated with police and archeology department and agreed to give him back to India
